I am nobody's tomcat. I am the tomcat you couldn't be bothered to neuter, so I strayed. You thought it was 'natural' to let me live this way. I wandered away from home. You thought I was having fun living the natural way. I fought, I got sick. People shooed me away from their door when I came begging for food, covered in fight wounds, sick from abcesses. I stunk of pee spraying over territory.
Then I found a house that wanted to care because I looked so sick - but it was too late by then. I was dying. Help came too late and now I am dead. It didn't need to be this way - you could have neutered me if you had cared about me. I wouldn't have fought. I wouldn't have got sick. I would have stayed at home and gladly kept the mice away. Now I am gone and you still think I am out having fun the 'natural' way. I am nobody's tomcat.

Very poetic Kenny but unfortunately true..
All cats should be neutered there are too many
I took in a stray unneutered Tom who was covered in bites and scabs, from fighting other Toms over females
I had him neutered and the change was amazing. He looks very well, eats and sleeps.

He stills goes out and patrols his territory, but very few fights.
From my experience it is not only cats who could do with being neutered, sex always seems to lead to problems for some of us.
I wish I had been taken down to the VET when I was young and done with the cat.

Sad tale Kenny but unfortunately too many people don't give a f*ck for an animals welfare in this so called Nation of pet lovers.
I went past a farm recently that was covered in farm cats. I wonder if there is much bird life left in the vicinity!
