Is Stormzy Racist?

Of course he is totally, and his **** hero David Lammy

Same as Abbott,Lammy and Khan..100% racist.

Never heard of the **** until this weekend. First impression - the name - Stormzy. Sounds like a creation of Chris Morris, a character that Nathan Barley would have been down with. Then the music, possibly the most obvious, stalest, most risible, cliche ridden set of stock rhymes I could ever imagine. About as edgy and anti -establishment as my Aunt Winnie.

Corbyn approves, that pretty much says it all.

anybody who mentions a fat boy Lammy speech is race baiting

Stormzy (not his real name) is only racist to whitey.
Unlike Tommy not his real name Robinson who is racist.

You only post insults. Who is the angry one? Please debate don't hate my friend.

I have a nice tan you coont.

Looked at google nooz last night and of course the Grauniad had turned him appearing into a black vs white identity politics triumph...

When everything is framed through the lens of race and religion then divisions will only deepen and the left love nothing more than doing just that.

Then again, given that, would it be too much of a stretch to say that someone who has only released ONE album (of him talking over a drum machine) and whose highest single position in our ridiculous charts now is just six, might have been made HEADLINER of a major festival more due to a "#Very2019VirtueSignal" to a certain type of right on middle class audience than due to reasons that are not just about music? Given that's what his performance has been totally wrapped up in and shouted about and the current luvvie obsession with "diversity", it's not exactly a stretch.

Also he's not the first black artist (despite all the "progressive" hype) to headline Glastonbury as Skunk Anansie did it 20 years ago!

William Shatner did sh1t albums of him just talking instead of singing. Maybe he should come out as transgender and change religion, with enough #FeelGoodDiversityTickBoxes he could be headlining in 2021!

Bob Dylan made the first rap record Subterranean homesick blues.

Stormzy( nhrn) withdrew from jezzfest last year as they would not pay him £100,000 for his set.

Pale imitation of Vanilla Ice imo.

"Welcome to Jezz Club, .. Nice"

Pale imitation of Vanilla Ice imo.

Liking that description, pale...absolute bucket!

You seen what I done there, believe me there will be a few who don't.

He's fooking brutal as a Music artist.  How can someone like that top any festival?  Pure crap.  Compare The Killers head lining last night to that shiote on Friday night

You seen what I done there, believe me there will be a few who don't.

Sadly more than a few

he,s that foooooking thick doesn't realise that his music is what the knife killers play on their I phones whilst roaming the streets looking for targets

They don't try and select their targets under the cover of silence? Surely they would have a better hit rate using stealth tactics?

I'm not a trained assassin, just applying common sense.

Maybe they use headphones? Or those wireless earplugs.

You'd still hear that racket bleeding out the headphones.

Although I suppose the victims would be listening to the exact same album.

Boris a huge fan

hasn't got a clue  .... should stick to the tennis punditry  imo

Why was he wearing a stab vest with a UK FLAG on it ??

People being stabbed to death every weekend ,Why would you go on stage wearing a Stab Vest ?  With any flag on it .

it was British made    ... quite unusual these days

Stormzy loyal to the cause  .... protecting British jobs

Cos he's from croydon cuz, it's in the uk and it was a place of civil unrest with the fires n all dat bruv, black people in Croydon need to carry knives u know cause them feds keep stoppin the kidz and stuff like innit.

He's gifted with his words and is a poet of our times, giving life to bredhern cuz with the tunes cuz.

The Greece flag is better suited to his style of music.

I don't understand why he wore it , I certainly don't think the UK is much worse than other countries regarding Stabbers

Certain areas appear to have the Problem ,not the whole of the UK .. Tbh when I seen it I thought he was taking the Pish

, for what ever reason People are being killed by Stabbing , Perhaps he is thinking of starting a new line in stab vests ?

Can you imagine the Uproar if a white person appeared on screen wearing such a thing ?

its art bruv, he is making a statement for his people u know, standin up the police like and dem politikans who do nuttin for young black kidz cuz

on the back of his stab vest a bit like prem leaugue have the DEATH number of stabbings no idea what it is for 2019 maybe 4019

then come back to stabsonbury in 2029 with a hang glider the number is 40019

PC Blakelock death tottenham riots is this the payback for that the elite exactly know how policing works they have engineered this to get theyre ultimate revenge

their

our so called democratic liberal advanced progressive society is actually very divided its a battle between the middle/left and the right have a look at all the previous govts its been like that

"Can you imagine the Uproar if a white person appeared on screen wearing such a thing ?"

Quote unanswered ..

Now Lets imagine   TR   appeared wearing this vest ??

What would be the Media or fooking wot ever else's reaction be .....

I am astounded that some geezer is banging around a stage wearing a STAB VEST , Will the actions of some geezer

and his forgotten in 2 years songs help to stop families attending funerals of wasted life's ?

Can someone explain the reasoning of the Stab Vest ,other than the STORM VEST you need it to live in uk .

A_T mocking an easy target as there are no consequences.

He was using the global reach to make a statement on the knife crime crisis.

Draw some attention to it in the (vain) hope politicians might do something more than make mealy mouthed statements.

If that were the case you'd think the easiest way for Stormzy to do so would be to create songs about knife crime etc. instead of chanting f*** Boris on the biggest platform any musician will ever have.

Not sure telling the gang bruvvers to toe the line will be a good seller.

*would be

Have you heard many Stormzy songs denzil?

Rap is the most political music out there.

The days of rock bands like U2, REM or The The being overtly political are long gone sadly. All Ed Sheeran **** nowadays.

The vest and chant made mainstream press and we're still talking about them days later.

I think he knows a lot more than you about getting a message across frankly.

Have checked his song list can't seem to find the anti gang violence ones can you name a few please and explain the message.
Ed Sheeran is massively overrated.

I'm not your slave pal. Do your own work. Seek and he shall find.

He was using the global reach to make a statement on the knife crime crisis.

LOLOLOL. The notion that there is a global interest in this herbert is laughable. He is virtually unknown outside of the UK, and his profile here is ludicrously exaggerated. He is in essence a media creation, because he fits a narrative and agenda they feel compelled to support and publicise. The citizens of French Lick, Indiana and elsewhere have far better things to do of a day than pay any attention to Stormzy's tedious pronouncements.

As for his cringeworthy "statement on the knife crime crisis",  he didn't name and shame or (perish the thought) unequivocally condemn the community largely responsible perpetrating the violence, as well as being the victims of it.

The vest and chant made mainstream press and we're still talking about them days later.

That's true. Days later we are still splitting our sides laughing at his drivel, and cringing at the thought of all those nice white "progressive" lefty middle-class sorts in a field (and at home) PRETENDING they like Stormzy and his unlistenable "songs".  They would probably cross the road to avoid him and other "Grime" artistes in normal life. And yes, I realise I'm dignifying them far too much by referring to them as "artistes".

Dry your tears alun.

The lad was headlining Glastonbury. Whether you like him or agree with his views doesn't matter. He made a statement and it was effective. Shouldn't let it get under your skin so much.

PorcupineorPineapple name 1 song where Stormzy has delivered a message on the wrongs of gang violence urging them to change their ways surely that isn't being my slave.

What message is he getting across? Answering that one shouldn't be too difficult bearing in mind MUSIC is his platform you'd think the message he sends out would be in his MUSIC,especially if he is making a social or political stand which you seem to think he is but can't provide any positive evidence.

FWIW Stormzy is blaming EVERYTHING BUT the bruvvers and knives for the problems the reason being he can't blame those who buy his music and have given him this life in fact he's milking it all for as much as he can get.

right wing snowflakes will be seething for a long time, it's what they do

Denzil, if you can't figure out the message from it then I'm not sure the grown up internet world is the right place for you lad.

Stormzy is a nice Christian boy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPuj6UISMhs

.

He needs to be asked why he thinks its ok to use the UK flag ? Most towns do not have dozens of stabbings and Drug related murders every year ..

Perhaps a Big Ben vest would have been more suitable .

People are not stabbed to death every week where I live

the Union jack i always associate with the posher  end of the UK  - Wimbledon ,Windsor castle ,Royal weddings,  Cotswolds cream teas and  the W.I .

theyre using the wrong flag

PorcupineorPineapple Do you think he should be using some of his prophets to solve gang violence?
Instead of building more wealth on the backs of those who've funded his rise whilst the issue continue to worsen.

aaronh Stormzy is clearly detached from reality using religious faith in his work all this serves to do is bolster what these fantasists already believe, meaning they don't care at all about authority because they answer to a higher power and can justify this in any way they like (usually a self centred prayer) whilst continuing that lifestyle.
You might've seen similar somewhere before maybe not.

Stormzy and his boyfriend Lammy could have joined forces with the BBC to highlight real racism:

An Afghan asylum seeker who allegedly attacked random members of the public with a knife was 'fuelled' by a desire to kill English people, a court heard.

Samiulahaq Akbari, 32, is accused of swinging a 10ins kitchen knife at three 'total strangers' within a 10-minute period in Thornton Heath and Croydon in south London after 'demanding to know their nationality'.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7204663/Afghan-asylum-seeker-fuelled-desire-kill-English-people.html

Should be headline news for days but the MSM will no doubt ignore it in favour of some trannie/gay/climatebollox

Denzil - who's to say he isn't?

Couldn't find any evidence to support that but the hits keep rolling and his profile grows exponentially.
