Back in the day I served three months time.
They told me exactly which post got me banned. And exactly which date i'll be able to post again. There are many complains on the forum about people getting banned. But i've never seen anyone post exactly what they got banned for. Did betfair stop telling you why you got banned? Or people just conveniently ignore that tiny detail? |

A guy I know was banned for life about 15/16 years ago and has never been allowed to post since despite trying several times to be reinstated.
The mods were meaner in those days  |

I got banned for 3 months or so as I dared to criticise a Channel 4 racing presenter. I would not accept it as my comment was absolutely fair. Eventually I finally got through to a 'decision maker' and when he read my remark he started laughing saying it was totally ridiculous and reinstated me straight away.

Its pretty much an anonymous forum. Often wonder why people want to share personal details of themselves...
 Used to play poker using an Asian name.. Half the table turned on me and started racially abusing me (im white English) but I was fuming! Complained via e-mail and they were chat banned...  (grass) feel like ive wandered off subject... It's hot outside.   |

I got banned for a week once for a rather jocular,but possibly inappropriate remark,about a lady trainer. There were a couple of people around at the time who were looking to report me though. Thanks OTF or JC

As other posters have said the abuse on the poker tables was horrendous.
It is not so bad now, but before you were regularly told that they hoped you would get cancer and die and the foulest language imaginable. I heard the worst language in my whole life at the poker tables. My opinion of men went down even further! I regularly used to have to point out the biological impossibility of what they wanted to do to me as they thought I was a man |

Last time was on b'fred and bad beat a guy. He gave me the 'your Mum' stuff. What hed been doing to her. After a bit I told him my Mum was 84. Shut him up. |

I agree, akabula, that it is better nowadays on poker. I suppose they have 'had a word' with the worst culprits. I suspect that they did not ban them as they liked their money!

the one that makes me laugh is that there is a cure for cancer but it isn't being released but "the elites."
how much cheaper would it be to cure people than treat the cancer that keeps people alive for years with the disease? my mum had cancer for 14 years before she passed, must have cost tens of thousands to treat her. my dad has cancer now, his drugs cost about 6k a month. cure them & you would save a fortune. silly people have silly ideas. |
