Well I don't think Lord Longford was a bad man nanny
He worked in Prison Reform all his life... It was Hindley got round him, but Lord Longford was a fool, he should have seen the evil in Brady and Hindley They were well beyond reform, if we had had Capital Punishment when they were convicted they would have been deservedly hung. I can understand your feelings Nanny |

I would not want to Nanny...I don't think the general public know what these two did to the children..
They were both evil I dont think Brady life was that cushy, Hindly had a slightly better life than him....they both deserved the rope as you say |

I don`t firmly believe in the Death penalty, but in cases like this where there is no possible doubt of their guilt and the evil associated with the crimes, the perpetrators should be strung up with piano wire.

Where there is no doubt , I see no reason in keeping these types of people alive , millions of pounds involved just to have them locked up , WHY ?
I really find that alone hard to understand , add the families of victims having to accept these things are still alive and being looked after ,there is also a slim chance the fookers could escape ![]() |

The most evil man I have heard of is Anders Behring Breivik
At a summer camp on the island of Utøya in Tyrifjorden, Buskerud. The camp was organized by the AUF, the youth division of the ruling Norwegian Labour Party (AP). Breivik, dressed in a homemade police uniform and showing false identification,[18][19] took a ferry to the island and opened fire at the participants, killing 69[7][8][9] and injuring at least 110, 55 seriously. How on earth is this man still alive? I have not the faintest idea On 24 August, Breivik was convicted as charged and sentenced to 21 years of preventive detention in prison, the maximum sentence allowed in Norway. The sentence can be extended indefinitely as long as the prisoner is deemed a threat to society. Which will be until he dies I should think. Our society finds it difficult to deal with extreme evil. |

The murder of Jamie Bolger, a two year old toddler.
We cannot execute 10 year old boys. Never the less it was an act of supreme evil. Evil will always be difficult to deal with. |

Agree with death penalty for some problem will always be miscarraiges of justice, you can't tell me that Michael Stone (still rotting away in jail) killed that poor mother,1 daughter, their dog and attempted of another daughter and was convicted on ropey grounds with all the evidence that points to it being Levi Bellfield.
Stone is doing 25 years + whilst Bellfield who has changed his name to Yusif Rahim (for preferential muslim treatment and protection in Durham jail brothers mate works there) has changed his story on admitting the attacks for control purposes. |
