Yes i did see the movie. A little disappointing but only to be expected. Great to see the old gang nack together. Great actors. The storyline did them no favours. Quite possibly the best TV show ever if not certainly top 5!

It is probably a bit far fetched to say this but I think the reason they say Asian instead of Pakistani is because there are many influential people in Britain that might be the beneficiaries of this dirty work carried out by the Pakistanis. Protection could well be guaranteed at higher levels.

There is a place in Pakistan called Kasur which had a child abuse scandal many years ago. The same place had a similar scandal again, somewhere between 2014-2016 i would say. When the same thing happened repeatedly at the same venue, people took notice and there was an artificial investigation. Turned out the investigation couldn't go too deep as local politicians were blocking it.

The way they worked was that they would kidnap kids, force them to do be exposed on camera with other kids, blackmail them and then use the kids the way they wanted.

I am 100% sure that I read a news story from a journalist who claimed the investigation was being blocked by the politicians because this was happening at a much bigger scale and UK politicians were involved(though its quite possible those UK politicians were also pakistani). He probably also mentioned child pron rings on the dark web but im not entirely sure about that.

Unfortunately I have never been able to find that news item again. I try to dig for it everytime you guys start whining about the grooming stuff.
