"I wouldn't see managing in mens game as step up"

Those who have tried it tend not to last that long. Corinne Diacre was an exception, having managed French men's team Clermont Foot for three seasons, but now she's the manager of the France women's team and doing well at the World Cup.

It would be a very brave decision taking that step, because you have to realise the timespan of a manager in the men's game averages just over a year. When you have a family and have to keep a roof over your head, leaving a potentially more stable job in women's football is a massive risk.

Right now, I can't envisage ever going into men's football and I wouldn't necessarily see a job in the men's game as a step up - but you can never say never about anything.

I was listening to the Peter Crouch podcast and he said that Bolo Zenden used to stand completely naked in front of the mirror, combing his hair.  How would that work with a female manager in today's world of hypersensitivity?  I realise not everyone does that but there must be a lot of nudity in the dressing room.

The next campaign will be the BBC and Women's management claiming equal pay for women representing England with the men representing England. Target an organisation like the FA , after the Womens World Cup and make the legal eagles screw the FA with full media support.

Football is a men's game, it always will be


There is no other kind as far as I am concerned.

To be fair if women want to kick a football I would not stop them.

Personally I think women are better at other things.

Still everybody makes their own choice.
