“Einstein's relativity work is a magnificent mathematical garb which fascinates, dazzles and makes people blind to the underlying errors. The theory is like a beggar clothed in purple whom ignorant people take for a king... its exponents are brilliant men but they are metaphysicists rather than scientists.”

We should never judge artists by their political views. The imagination they need for their work deprives them of the ability to think in realistic terms.
Artists are simple-hearted souls. Today they sign this; tomorrow that; they don't even look to see what it is, so long as it seems to them well-meaning.

They don't want you to win. Bloke in betting shop, after massive pile up at the first bend left his 3 tricast dogs 30 lengths clear, only for the hare to stop at the last bend when one of the three fallers turned and ran the wrong way round the track.

That reminds me of the time when I was at the dog track, I think it was Walthamstow, when I fell in love with this beautiful greyhound. Now I used to study form usually but what the hell I thought and had a bet. It came out the traps and then turned around and went back

This actually happened to me, many years ago. I'd placed a 50p r-t/c on the 3 outsiders at an open race. I think the odds were something like 33/1, 12/1 and 6/1. The race started, big pile up at 1st bend, left my 3 miles in front. They stopped the hare at the last bend as one of the fallen dogs was the wrong side if the hare rail. Haven't backed dogs since. Was late 90's iirc.

It is far easier to close your eyes and be led down the garden path by an official narrative which takes you to a table where the fairies are having a barbecue than to actually have them wide open and see the reality, which is always there, coldly staring straight at you, like the truth trying to break through the layers of deception, which cannot be seen by so many but is seen by a few, who, despite trying to help others to find a way through the deceit, are berated rather than thanked for their efforts.
The blind man has an excuse, however, the man wearing a blindfold has the opportunity to remove it. Sadly for him, the darkness is far easier to comprehend than what the light often brings.
Every man can be excused for believing a lie, however, when the lie is exposed for what it is then the excuses have to stop and questions have to be asked of those that choose to remain in the continuous loop of treachery !
