Got to ban that Santander advert where Ant and Dec claim to have started a bank. Reinforces the stereotype that bankers are annoying feckwits.

First time I went to York I arrived at a car park to see a woman struggling to park.  She ended up giving the keys to a stranger chap to park it for her.

Does this mean that there will no longer be adverts featuring the stereotype thick white man, who is always less intelligent than the female character?

Ye Gods, how will the advertisers cope without that staple ingredient?

How are bookies going to cope. They can't show happy smiling winners as the advertising standards mean adverts must be honest and everyone knows that winners aren't allowed, and now they can't show losers putting a chair through the roulette machine as that is a harmful stereotype.

I don't watch TV anyway

But it really comes to something when you've got an organisation sitting round banning what can and can't be on TV, but they can't sort out "brexit"

Don't worry the thick white man and clever woman will remain, because they don't deem that a "stereotype"

This is so one sided some women are well suited to raising children,doing housework and cooking for the family most of this is built in through thousands of years of evolved life passed down through generations,all this does is sh!t on all the mams and grandmas who've successfully lived these sort of lives caring for everyone along the way.
Kids today are being shown to have F ALL respect for any woman who hasn't lived an aspirational career orientated life rather than a family orientated life which imo. is the most important thing.
As far as I've known the only person in my family (during my lifetime) who didn't have a bad word said about them was my grandma who was the stereotypical mother/housewife who cooked,cleaned,cared and looked after all of us which she lived for everyone wanted to be there,now they are saying don't even show a woman hoovering the floor.

Evolution created men and women, as they aree, if both sexes are exactly the same it would only have created one sex...

Of course women whould be able chosse their own life?, but this is forcing women into something they may not want,
some women are happy being the traditional female, but will now feel they must be something else
