If we end up having to leave with No Deal there will be one group to blame ..

The remoaners who from day one have done nothing but throw spanners and complain that the vote did not go their way  ..

It has probably even led to us have little or no leverage as Junker and the team thought there was a strong possibility of a 2nd ref  ...

The total refusal of people to accept a democratic vote has led us to where we are now ,instead of accepting the Vote  and trying  to

help the UK get the best possible leave terms ,what have they done ? sweet F.A  Sad Crowd funding for Milkshakers  ,unreal Sad

The term NO DEAL is just another scaremongering tactic used by remainers. There’s no such thing as NO DEAL, the UK would just revert to WTO rules like loads of other countries.
Report n88uk June 14, 2019 2:01 AM BST
You mean like the zero other countries trading exclusively on WTO rules?
Report n88uk June 14, 2019 2:04 AM BST
The idea that no deal is the fault of remain is laughable. The reason we're left with no deal is because leave was an undefined utopia and no deal is the last thing they can cling to because it's not currently defined. Any soft Brexit = "remain in disguise". Stuff like May's deal even a lot of Brexiteers really is worse than remain, because surprise, surprise the fantasy sold during the referendum never existed. No deal is the last thing that's not defined to cling to, then if it happened 90% of these people currently wanting it would say they never wanted it and go in on the government for doing it.
Report n88uk June 14, 2019 2:08 AM BST
Also even attempting to trade exclusively on WTO rules is a disaster waiting to happen. Either you have huge shortages or you slash tariffs to cause a massive flood of imports sending British business bust as they can't compete.

And that's without even getting into the utter neglect of Northern Ireland and shape you'd leave them in under such terms.
Report the old nanny ;-) June 14, 2019 8:51 PM BST
Pro Remain have done Zilch ,Had they accepted the Vote and worked to get the Best possible exit for Remainers we may not be at this Point , Pro Brexit not done a lot more except stand in the Background while May's disaster was going on ..

Norn could have been sorted we have had 3 years FFS , 3 years of Seething and on the Other side t0ssers scared to move the process forward, or be held responsible for doing so.

Report dave1357 June 15, 2019 10:19 AM BST
walofs - leavers were told about the consequences of leaving including the tremendous complexities of unwinding 40 years of law and global agreements.   Were told that they couldn't expect to be treated as a member after leaving.

And they still refuse to accept that they are responsible for damaging the country.

The remain side have been colluding with the EU from the start try to keep us from leaving.

Didn't Blair brag there were ways and means of avoiding Brexit, didn't Starmer visit the EU to talk about Brexit when he is a firm remainer?
There have been a stream of other firm remainers visiting the EU with one intention, which was to reassure the EU that keeping us in the EU was possible, and that would be achieved by offering the UK a poor deal.

It was said from the beginning that if the EU offered us a lousy deal we would not leave on poor terms.
So the EU have done exactly that. Which is the EU's job done and the first part of the plan in place.

Now it's the job of the remainers to keep opposing a no-deal Brexit until a referendum is called.
Which is the second part of the plan to keep the UK in the EU.

Liam Fox warns WTO is 'in crisis' as businesses told to brace for no-deal Brexit

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2019/06/14/liam-fox-warns-wto-crisis-businesses-told-brace-no-deal-brexit/

The US-China trade war, industrial strife and political deadlock all threaten to overwhelm the World Trade Organization, putting the future of the institution and the system of free trade in mortal danger, Liam Fox has warned.

World leaders need to “seize the opportunity” to resolve the crisis, opening up trade rapidly to boost economic growth and spread prosperity, the International Trade Secretary said.

He criticised the G20 for failing to address the “scale [and] urgency of the challenges facing the global trading system” and warned “the WTO could be facing an existential crisis”.

“The WTO now faces one of the biggest tests since its establishment and, with all its functions under strain,...

Remember, this is the same guy who claimed that a post referendum deal "would be the easiest deal in history" ......
Report Dr Crippen June 15, 2019 11:04 AM BST
Fox hadn't reckoned with most of Parliament fighting against Brexit and an inept PM.

It should have been an easy deal. With no deal on the table and a commitment to leave without paying over a penny, we might have got somewhere.
Now we'll have to leave before meaningful negotiations can take place.

Report Dr Crippen June 15, 2019 11:13 AM BST
He did his job at the time, the same as the remain side did their job.

Where was any foresight coming from the remain side, when they told us about the economy going down the pan from day one after the ref?

I realize my eternal wisdom makes me appear elderly and knowledgeable far beyond my years, but I ain't all that old, dad.

Report Angoose June 15, 2019 1:30 PM BST
Of course, what was conveniently overlooked when May was telling us that "no deal is better than a bad deal" is that no deal is itself a bad deal.
So thanks Theresa, for sagely pointing out that "a bad deal is better than a bad deal", rivals her Brexit Means Brexit slogan for absuridity.
