Labour tables cross-party motion that would hand control of the parliamentary agenda to MPs on 25 June. If motion passes, MPs will have the chance to introduce measures, including legislation, to stop no deal.
MPs have voted by 309-298 against the Labour-led motion to seize control of the Commons agenda. It means the opposition won't have the freedom to bring forward legislation on 25 June aimed at blocking a no-deal Brexit later this year.
