Labour tables cross-party motion that would hand control of the parliamentary agenda to MPs on 25 June. If motion passes, MPs will have the chance to introduce measures, including legislation, to stop no deal.

Too late, we left on 29th March. As soon as the English Democrats get their Brexit case into court we will find out if they are right.

MPs have voted by 309-298 against the Labour-led motion to seize control of the Commons agenda.
It means the opposition won't have the freedom to bring forward legislation on 25 June aimed at blocking a no-deal Brexit later this year.

There will be further attempts ......

Good.
Take No Deal off the table and what are we left with?
This! Take any deal the EU offers, and the current one is very poor, or stay.
Report Ibrahima Sonko June 12, 2019 5:37 PM BST
Exactly, they want to stay in or accept a crap deal. Disgraceful behavior in a democratic society.

Its a bit like Trident.
You don't want to use it but the threat is there.

At the beginning of the negotiations with the EU, what was the BATNA of the UK negotiators?

Report Baphornet June 12, 2019 5:54 PM BST

James Wells MEP on his twitter account.
He's allowed 2 offices in Brussels. 1 for him and 1 for his staff.
Another office allowed in Strasbourg.
£250,000 budget for staff wages plus £50k to run an UK office.

There are 751 MEPs in total. Good to see that they are not wasting money.
Report akabula June 12, 2019 6:33 PM BST
As you can see from the chart below, this is true. According to the EU's accounts for 2011, it spent €8.4 billion of its €129.4 billion budget on administration costs, some 6.5% of the total.

Lifted this from an old report. £8.4billion Cry

This was not a vote for Brexit , it was a vote that if need be we leave with no deal , if you were to have a vote for brexit with a deal thrown in what would the score be ? and yet we have people still banging on about 2nd referendums Plain
