Could Santander not have hired someone who didn't have a conviction for drink driving?, (which could easily have been a conviction form manslaughter from what I have read). Aren't banks supposed to portray a trustworthy image so people put their trust in them ?, or does no one give a flying f*ck anymore Angry.....................................................................

It's a bit ironic/f*ckin cheeky, that if you applied to work for Santander, on your application, you will definitely be asked if you have a criminal record and to list what it is or be asked to provide a disclosure. It's highly unlikely IMO that you would get even get an interview if you listed what he got done for, yet they are happy to pay him £££ to encourage you to use their products................................

A few less coffees to pay off your mortgage more quickly, or a few less beers before driving?
Tough choice.

The addiction to painlkiller meds been swept under the carpet nicely, surely the combo with booze is far more dangerous than booze alone.
We are forgetting here that his pal Donnelly was also a painkiller addict so very probable these 2 have been getting away with plenty over the years.
Addictions are a terrible thing yet the scummy alcoholic or junky homeless man is given best part of fcuk all whilst kipping in his cardboard box whilst these 2 are lauded as the greatest entertainers in history and given endless money, the public really are as thick as pig sh!t.

'By buying five less coffees per week...'

I can't believe they allow this on national television.  No wonder the country's going to the dogs.

I had money with Santander in which they miss sold the savings. They didn't tell me it was more of an investment rather than a savings and I could have lost money.I received about 600 quid in way of compo. So employing a drunk driver is not that surprising.
