Huge very quick shift in odds again. Momentum must've just walked in with another stuffed ballot box, in the traditional far left style.

There are usually about 47,000 votes to count in Peterborough. Probably a few more tonight but they’re sure taking a long time over it.

I saw that massive swing too, JC. 1.3 to evens in the blink of an eye. Quite incredible this political betting malarkey.

Labour suddenly down to 1.3 now. One jump from 2.2 to 1.3 with nothing in between.

I've bet on these things before. As I said during Eurovision when I could see the swing, "votes leak out".

But the oscillation back and forth, I can't quite remember that. I've managed a little trade so I might make enough for a reduced for quick sale mouldy apple tommorow.

But I might eat!

i've followed this closely & the original 'shift' looks like being correct. That had to come from the vote base (hence my naughty naughty) the other spikes are lost on me

It's same every time. Why suspend, people who bet would let them ride anyway even if closed, people trading "in play" must surely know people at the count have an idea as to what's going on.

What we REALLY need is VAR for every ballot paper :P

betting on by election results at whatever odds is mug punting, why would you bet on something you have no skill in predicting, as the result showed a complete lottery

Bizarrely, the 1.01 transactions were visible as having been completed much earlier in the day, it wasn't as a result of the count.

There is a great deal of skill in it. There are also many side markets with bookies/exchanges regarding things like vote percentage and match bets between parties.

I guess that the Brexit Party 1.01 backer simply made a mistake. Perhaps an over eager new supporter that was fairly new to the exchange.

Have to agree - it was definitely a mistake. Probably someone wanting to put lays in @ 1.01 and backing instead.
