Is that the end of Sarina?

with a bit of luck. She will probably get seeded 5 for Wimbers though. Give her a few bits of cannon fodder before she meets someone like Kenin who can deal with her. How she got seeded 10 for this is beyond me
By:
probably because she was No.10 in the rankings
By:
she shouldn't be. Which is my point
By:
Smart arse
By:
try talking through your mouth instead of your arse. She went up 6 places in the rankings after doing feck all since the US open. They give her the easiest draw in every tourney & she still can't get it done. Time to go
By:
that's the tourneys the pinsticker chooses to play, of course. She does nothing for the WTA except take the pee
By:
Looks like the move from 16 to 11 came after the Australian Open, which she indeed did play
By:
and with RG going strictly by ranking for their seedings, a player ranked 10 or 11 in the week ahead of the tournament will also be seeded there, or higher (e.g if someone ahead of her in the rankings doesn't play)
By:
that wouldn't explain being ranked 32 and getting seeded 25 for Wimbers, would it?
By:
Indeed it wouldn't. You might want to pay attention to where I said "and with RG going strictly by ranking for their seedings", which hints at it being about Roland Garros, not Wimbledon.
By:
and you might note that i didn't mention RG, but Wimbers. Now you can explain Wimbers seeding?
By:
Wimbledon, for the men, uses a highly complicated formula for their seedings. For the women they usually go with ranking but bump someone up if they deem them worthy, e.g because they've won the tournament a time or two in the past. Like when they seeded a 59th ranked Sharapova as 24th that one year she came back from injury.
In doing so, Wimbledon is the only major tournament that doesn't strictly go by the seedings. |
By:
was disrespectful seeding the 2x champion before pregnancy so low tbh

& she still does feck all for the WTA. Well except for breaking the rules continually, and acting like a diva for the last 20 years. Good riddance; perhaps she can try a new career in Middleweight boxing? Or maybe the UFC

embarrassing opinion |
By:
the complete truth, not an opinion. The embarrassment is hers
By:
do you think John Mcenroe was an embarrassment to men's tennis
By:
btw, it can only be a bad and embarrassing opinion that the greatest player of all time has done nothing for women's tennis or WTA. any suggestion otherwise is just dumb
By:
Mac stayed the same 'shape' all through his career (and still is) a saint compared to Williams. You need to read my posts properly & take the blinkers out of your arse, aaronh. I said "does" twice i think, as in present tense. But if you want to go back over a 20 year period, the WTA has done plenty for her, & has been extremely forgiving; they still are

unsurprisingly didn't wanna say yes, perhaps we can agree on Nick Kyrgios being an embarrassment to men's tennis instead?
By:
Serena (and Venus) are most responsible for the boom in women's tennis and really, the WTA have not really been as respectful as they should be to a 23 time slam champ and the greatest ever

absolute nonsense. Take the blinkers off. Margaret Court is safe enough, happily

clutching at straws; a cross post proves nothing

which part would you consider nonsense

Nick Kyrgios is an embarrassment/isnt, Serena/Venus are responsible for the boom of women's tennis, or that they didn't show enough respect to their greatest and and probably a top 10 of all timer in her sister |

guess, you're good at that
