GoodFellas or Casino?

Goodfellas is way better. Never get why anyone prefers Casino. When people say they do they give the reason that Pesci's psycho character is fun to watch. But you have that in Goodfellas and way more besides.

I know I can record one.... But a bit daft of the program schedulers to put both these films on at the same time

The wolf from wall street has the same loud mouth actoress trying to escape with the kids that always ends up crashin the car

both garbage compared to Once Upon a Time in America

I'd agree that Once upon a time in America , takes cinema to a far higher place
than either of the Scorsese films .

Yeah , That was a scene that everybody remembers from Goodfellas .

Joe peshi's character was a proper nut job in that .I was glad when he got bumped off .

Casino is good but Goodfellas is much better - Scorsese's most accomplished film

Two films of the highest quality.

I'm sure Sharon Stone had a different hairstyle in every scene in casino.

I remember watching Pollyanna the film  staring Haley mills saying in one  scene that you should look for the good in people

He just lost his way in life and needed guiding his best friend should have had a word with him and told  him his behaviour is not acceptable

If his best friend got bumped off then his second best friend should have guided him then his third best friend etc and I'm sure he would have got the message before  his 34th best friend got bumped off .
Pollyanna turned my way of thinking around to look for the good in people and take no notice of how many tattooes they have on their body.or if every other word they speak is a swear word .they just need to be guided ,that's one of the reasons I come on here to help guide people

I forgot just how good Casino was, both Fantastic Movies.

casino is the more thoughtful and reflective film, goodfellas is more crash bang wallop. they are very different. for me goodfellas definitely edges it as has the more memorable scenes, for example with billy bats in the bar. pesci is magnificent in that film although pretty much plays the same character in casino.

also I disagree with one of the posters who says that most people claim casino is better; I think you'll find it's the other way around.

Yep, most people would claim Goodfellas is better, because it is.

Might give them both another watch in the next few days..2 great films.
