problem with this is, people have worked all year looking forward to their 2 week summer holiday only to be hit by these middle class freaks who no doubt will be flying off later in the year from same airport

It's not just holidays, people fly for jobs, weddings, funerals, family gatherings, to see sick or dying relatives, there are many many good reasons why people travel and it's not up to a bunch of soap dodging crusty tw*ts to decide whether they get to or not.

Yes you are right of course about holidays. I concur with you! :)
I can rebook time easily but thinking about it I know people who have a REAL hard time getting time off, they need to get people to cover for them etc, if their holiday is messed up it's not just a minor inconvenience. And that's if you know in advance it might be ****ed up, what about if you get there from Bristol or Glasgow and the flight is fubar and then they accomodation can't be rebooked etc? Does travel insurance cover all that? Can they not protest by showing the plight of lemmings due to global warming and finding a decent height cliff?   |

Good afternoon ,hope they close Heathrow down good and proper .And before anyone mentions drones there was zero evidence of any drones at Gatwick or Heathrow presented .Pollution from aircraft is massive and affects everyone yet only a small amount of people use Airports ,the gov taxed mpv and suv vehicles unfairly ,many of these vehicles were covering families that would have had two vehicles instead of one ,same should apply to air travel and those that travel the most should be taxed on a sliding scale ,aircraft engines are pure filth ,half the business trips are unessesary imo in this day and age . The cheap holiday brigade are a different thing although better mass travel tech needs devolped .
