More forward thinking

I've read and seen repeated reports about the fear and danger of putting more and more crap into orbit and it causing an ever increasing cloud of debris, possible collissions, and then when things collide it causes MORE fast moving small bits of debris. A little nut flying at incredibly high speed is like a bullet if it hits anything else (like a space station or astronaut or satellite that is actually important)

Then today I read Megalomaniac Musk is apparently putting ***12,000*** new satellites into orbit for a totally unncessary "broadband from space". That's ADDING more than twice the existing amount.

Well that will help with space debris won't it! Oh and apparently they reflect light badly so are going to mess up astronomy, not to mention radio astronomy. Could he not stick to his failing loss making car company or coming up with unworkable rescue ideas then insulting real rescuers?
