Painful as it is to admit, the english are still ahead of the curve in ODI's imo. Even a worst case scenario in the knockout games makes them around a 2/1 pop to win, if you assume they qualify about 80-90% of the time, which they should do in such a low variance group stage format. Pretty thin value but a mandatory back imo.

Justifiable favourites, but always the chance of a 2017 ICC Champions Trophy style outcome in a one off semi-final or final.
