Saw this cool moth this morning.

Looks exactly like this :

which is an estgmene apparently, but wikipedia says they're native to North America.  Anyone know what it is?

White Ermine it is but you may wish to know that there is also a Burnet moth. They are black and red and are day flying on downland.

They are very common, you see their caterpillar, also brightly coloured to signal danger as they are nasty to eat, all over ragwort in the summer.
