Female body image issues in US gymnastics. Classic BBC main news item.
Report treetop May 23, 2019 6:33 PM BST
Even the report about India election was dominated by female input in an area of the world where male control is predominant (not saying right or wrong, just the way it is). Accurate reporting of voter intentions ?
Report Ramruma May 23, 2019 8:15 PM BST
If we have somehow wrongly disqualified 3 million voters then surely that is a big deal.
Report Just Checking May 23, 2019 8:36 PM BST
But we haven't. If the BBC said that it's wrong.

A case of getting your excuses in early.

Do they vote for British MEPs?  Because if so then that is wrong.  By all means vote for MEPs to represent your own country but not one you just happen to be living in.

If I had a friend come to stay for a bit and he started demanding a say in how I spend the household budget I'd tell him to f-off.

Didn't France not create a consituency for French people living in the UK? Yip..
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constituencies_for_French_residents_overseas
so that's a bit asymetric isn't it, they can live in the UK, vote for MPs in France then an MEP in the UK? Can they also vote for an MP here as well .. and the answer is no. Can't vote unless from Ireland, Cyprus and Malta.

BBC REMAIN Bias and Agenda - in full flow.

But - They are Facked now ... LEAVE NO DEAL in October must now be FAV.
Report Ramruma May 24, 2019 3:53 PM BST
What BBC bias? We could have left already if the headbangers in the ERG had not kept voting against Mrs May's deal.

That is the irony: it was the Remainers trying to get us out and it is the Leavers who have kept us in.
Report Just Checking May 24, 2019 3:54 PM BST
Repeat after me: "The ERG, along with many other people, do not consider her deal to be an actual Brexit".
Report n88uk May 24, 2019 3:58 PM BST
It's quite fortunate they only consider the undeliverable to be Brexit, Brexit might have happened otherwise.

Her deal wasn't in any way shape or form Brexit.
Report Just Checking May 24, 2019 8:19 PM BST
Her latest version of her deal .. I got to the point where I stopped caring as there was no chance of it passing but if anything they are saying it was even worse and less "Brexity"?
Report onlooker May 25, 2019 2:15 AM BST
There's your answer - Ramruma ...

Four replies contradicting you - along with the bleedin' obvious  statement ...

"Her deal wasn't in any way shape or form Brexit."

As ratified by her RESIGNATION, today.
Report Ramruma May 25, 2019 9:40 AM BST
Theresa May's deal was exactly Brexit. We would have left the EU. There was nothing about trade, immigration or unicorns on the referendum ballot paper.

Report Ramruma May 25, 2019 9:44 AM BST
While we are stating the bleeding obvious, the parliamentary arithmetic has not changed (assuming the MP for Maidenhead feels like turning up) so Prime Minister Boris or Raab or whoever will still not get the votes through the House of Commons.

And if he upsets the DUP, he could lose a confidence vote inside a week.

So we might even get to find out what Jeremy Corbyn really thinks about Brexit once he is Prime Minister in a few weeks' time.
Report saddo May 25, 2019 2:32 PM BST
I've never seen a ballot paper which had pages of policy attached. It was a simple yes or no, and we should be long gone.
Report casemoney May 25, 2019 5:26 PM BST

Spot on how can they be Voting in other then their Own country Plain
Report saddo May 25, 2019 5:36 PM BST
Since they opened the borders to the rest of the world I think the term 'own country' is redundant for Europeans.
