I was just thinking as I listened to her and thinking about what a bunch of tw*ts they are, and how it's all gone wrong for them and with a bit of luck next GE every single one of them will be out of a job and ..  she says it's hard for a "new party" to get going, when of course a brand new party (the Brexit party) is in a space of weeks leading the polls, then ...

she goes and gives a long anecdote about the rise of Hitler and links it to Brexit and Farage.

I think I'll keep an eye out, if any company takes this awful dim woman on "a-la-Nick-Clegg" I'm boycotting them, no question. Same with the horrendous Chucka. His little attempt to create his own political empire seems to have backfired hasn't it! LaughLaugh

Should've called themselves the "Godwin's Law, we're losing and the rattle is out the pram and so Brexit is like the nazis" party.

It's not a bad comparison, although Nige doesn't spit as much when he does his oratory.

Hitler had a moustache, does Farage?

Hitler also invaded Russia, is Farage planning on doing this?

If the answer to both the above questions is no

The comparison does not really hold

In stature I'd say he's more Napoleonic.

Again though we fall down with the Russian invasion.

A comparison between Corbyn and Hitler would be more appropriate for obvious reasons.

There is another comparison we can make, how many balls does Farage have?

That is not it either Dr C

The Daily Telegraph claims his parties policy is No Dogs, No Blacks, No Irish!

What Farage obviously needs is more beer halls and the right sort of atmosphere in them, then and only then will he sweep to power for the Brexit final victory.

Wetherspoons need to start serving lager in 2 pint Steins to umpah music, that'll do it.

CHANGE UK - 'Voting for the status quo!'

Be amazed that many if any keep their jobs in a general election.

Change UK started off as 'The Independents'. On their leaflet it says they want to remain in the EU.

So how is this 'change' and how is it 'independent'? They're a closed shop. Noone with a different view can join!

Could be the shortest lived party in history.

Soubry pulled that "we're a new party, what do you expect".
Her face was a picture when it was pointed out that the Brexit party were a new party and they looked like sweeping the boards.
Like you JC I hope all are given what they deserve at the next election.

It was less than two months ago that a police chief talking-head warned everyone when he said:

"... it's incumbent on anybody in a position of responsibility, and who has a voice, to just think carefully about the way that they express their views and their opinions, so that what they're not doing is inciting behaviour or causing anybody to behave in a way that we wouldn't want them to behave."

What have we had since?

People like David Lammy and other self-appointed thought-leaders like Change UK, calling Leavers Nazis.

Any wonder that extremism is increasing in reaction to hate speech of that kind? They need to reflect on just how dangerous their words are: what they most fears becomes more likely when they insults those who frighten them.

Hanx Soubry on the BBCs Live Politics programme called Farage and anyone who votes for him racists.
This from the woman who said that being called a traitor had seen her get abuse on twitter and we should all be careful of the language we use.
Hypocrite of a woman.

Agree with the last two posts.

Not everybody has the same point of view we argue in a civilised manner. Peoples votes will decide it.

I think those involved in Politics or who work in Politics need to address their own behaviour

They make things worse
Report UBLE/REGY May 22, 2019 10:11 PM BST
Their behaviour is a form of bullying, I do not like to see it
Report UBLE/REGY May 22, 2019 10:13 PM BST
I don't mind them asking awkward questions though....but no bullying or abuse
Report UBLE/REGY May 22, 2019 10:15 PM BST
Most of the bullying comes from the remainers, is my observation.

Hitler went from drifting in homeless hostels to being the most powerful man in the world and then to being the most famous man in history.  Nigel Farage is doing well but has some way to go be in Adolf's league.

Yeah, well if sanctimony was snot, Soubury would need a tent as a handkerchief.

She's probably got her thought-police droids out on 'Offence Patrol' so I'm definitely going to jail for that one.
