Thanks to an incredibly kind donation from a fellow forum user and all round bloody nice bloke, once again, I will be running a competition for the first time in a while.
It's for the OPEN GOLF at Royal Portrush, in mid July and a prize fund of £410 has been put forward, so the top 5 will win some money.
The final entry thread and prize details will be available on both the GOLF and CHIT CHAT threads as always much nearer the time (once all the players and sections are sorted).
Hopefully, this advanced notice plus a few bumps to the top along the way, will build some interest and I hope to see a few hundred people (or however many ore left on the forums) taking part.

There is a far greater likelihood of sniping from the sidelines and silly taunting from some people, who have no idea about how to interact with others or what the real purpose of a forum is, than of them joining in or wanting to give something to others.
Fortunately the majority will be playing along, being interested in the golf and just being ok. Which is fine. |
