The heroic final moments of a woman dubbed the Angel of London Bridge have been revealed today, including how she told friends: 'I'm a nurse, I have to go and help', before she was attacked by all three terrorists.

Kirsty Boden, 28, was excitedly talking about plans to be a bridesmaid at her friend's wedding after getting the last table at Boro Bistro when French waiter Alexandre Pigeard, 26, was knifed amid the slaughter on June 3, 2017.

I've watched several of the BBC News reports this week concerning the evidence that has emerged from the 'Inquest'.

I have yet to hear any of the BBC reporters refer to the murderers as 'Islamist Terrorists" or (perish the thought) "Muslim Terrorists".  The word "attackers" is the best they have managed to date.

'London Bridge Attackers' sounds almost Dickensian Plain

I dont really understand on why a terrorist attack is played back in court, what are we meant to learn, high heels and running isnt easy.

Running in high heels is a problem, but that footwear was never made for running away from head choppers.

I don't understand the point of victim statements -- as if one murder is worse than another because the victim's fiance made a moving speech in court.

Ramruna it was introduced because victims or their survivors in the case of murder complained their views weren't heard in court.
I agree with it purely on those grounds.

She's not the only one killed trying to help, one of the guys last week was killed because he went to go help the australian woman (I think)?
Lesson learned is if something like that kicks off, make sure it's safe before you lower your guard to help anyone else.

What's the old saying about it's the guy who goes to break up the fight who ends up getting knifed..

Still the right thing to do though, no matter what the cost.

What will NOT come out of this inquest is the negligence of the Home Office in allowing these problems to arise, fester and lead to tragedy.
