Got up 03.30 drove nearly 50 miles, caught nothing ,covered in bites,sun burnt ..... saw 2 kingfishers, one green woodpecker, and a few deer....great day ..but now I’m sat here thinking about work tomorrow and that’s where it all goes tits up

Rod licence should be scrapped ,youngsters not taking fishing up anymore and now a rapid decline .The money taken was mostly spent on flood prevention by the EA .Its s rip off and this article sums it up . https://www.anglersmail.co.uk/news/rod-licence-sales-decline-80284
