Been driving a bit more lately mainly East Midlands, a few years ago if you saw an animal at the roadside it was pretty much going to be a fox knocked down, but now seeing a huge number of dead badgers and virtually no foxes. Are the badger numbers increasing at a rate, or are foxes decreasing. Having said that I've never seen a live badger !

I to have noticed the dead badgers and no foxes on the A38 A52 around Derby, but I’ve also seen at least 6 foxes in the streets around my house in the middle of Derby ...which tells its own story.. the badger a timid animal,the fox more clever

Foxes are scared of Badgers as Badgers are far more vicious and ferocious.

maybe foxes have learnt to hotwire cars and are exacting revenge on badgers
