What’s allowed in our plastic-free month?
Plastics we already own like water bottles and plastic shopping bags.
Food that we had purchased prior to the challenge (even if it has plastic packaging). It would be silly to waste this stuff!
What’s not allowed in our plastic-free month?
Single-use plastic items (i.e. bottles, bags, cutlery, straws, and condiments that come in single-serve plastic packaging)
Food that has ANY plastic in it’s packaging (fruit and veggies with little plastic stickers are allowed)
Anything that is made with or of plastic (we won’t be buying *any* of it this month!)
I’m going to try for the rest of the month and hopefully beyond.
Let’s spread the word.
