Everyone is all for equality but then treating people as unequal just undermines what they are actually trying to achieve, the judge is clearly living in the past.

If that story is accurately reported that's an absolute scandal. The shop manager from Stratford-upon-Avon, who has two previous convictions for drunk driving, admitted dangerous driving and was given a three month deferred sentence when she appeared at Warwick Crown Court yesterday.

Judge Buckingham told the court: "If Miss Parry was a man, there is no question it would have been straight down the stairs, because this is a shocking case of dangerous driving against a background of two previous convictions for excess alcohol.

"But this offence was committed in May 2018 and she has not been in trouble since. She has clearly got an alcohol problem. She is, whether she admits it or not, an alcoholic."

If she was a man she'd of been a soshal drinker.

After that comment males would surely have cause to object to her presiding over them on any charges.

Actually on reflection men should welcome her but say they identify as a woman.

It says something appalling about our system that someone with such obviously poor and imblanced "judgement" should be in such a position.
There was another woman who murdered her husband (this time while blind drunk) convicted this week. Maybe she should appeal and try to get this judge handling it ..

It's always fun to play "the substitution game" in these cases isn't it. Imagine the response to:
[Guy let off] "If Mr Parry was a woman, there is no question it would have been straight down the stairs"
[White person let off] "If Ms Parry were black, there is no question it would have been straight down the stairs"
etc etc.
I (as is everyone else) am at a loss as to why gender is even an issue in this - as it isn't. If you get p1ssed up you are risking killing everyone else on the road, everyone (apart from Dr Crippen in troll mode) sees this. It's very serious.

So .. "The Last Leg" and other hand wringing SJW programs didn't I take it go into a righteous fury at this clear injustice then, as they would have been in the "Mr Perry" case described above?
