Chicken Julian. My Indian does it. They bring out the chicken and with great flair douse it in alcohol before setting fire to it.

Julian from the Famous Five, for me.
Strong, brave, looked after his siblings and cousin. Natural leader. |

Julian Subero, played drums/percussion for The Thompson Twins and lived opposite me for years. A really lovely man he was, I haven't seen him for ages though as I think he moved oop north somewhere, maybe Nottingham but I'm not certain about that.

Alun:
What I loved about 'Me Singing' is the way he composed it. For years I tried in vain to work out the chords of the introduction (unfortunately the internet hadn't been invented in the days when I could still hear), but it just seemed hopelessly complex and unique. Then one day, with nobody around to listen, I was p1ssing around on the guitar, taking the open D shape up the neck, one fret at a time and, lo and behold, there it was. All that Cope had done was doodle around on the guitar whilst on his own and fed up. Which is what the song is about, of course. On his day definitely the number one Julian. |
