One of the two great mistakes made by Labour ten years ago was to let The Daily Telegraph control the information of the expenses scandal. Because The Telegraph mixed it up and put it out that all MP's of any party were bad as each other when, of course, the Tories were TWICE as bad as Labour.
Labour MPs made an average of £193,000 profit on sales, while Tories averaged nearly double this - £417,000. |

or perhaps they should just commute
Kinda hard if you're the MP for Orkney and Shetland Ebul. Maybe they should buy an hotel near to parliament and use that. |

county hall, just the other side of westminster bridge, would have provided a great place to house them, preferably in dormitories. i've just looked on wiki and apparently the fifth floor is still empty.

Don't mind them getting help in having a London residence.
They obviously have to spend time in their constituencies. But there should be a limit and any profits made handed back. |
