What a great time to be alive.

Almost all pubs have a range of cask ales on.  Wetherspoons has put pressure on prices.  Micropubs springing up everywhere.  Breweries springing up
everywhere.  Fantastic range of beers available in all supermarkets.  Beer defo cheaper than it was 5 years ago e.g. 4 for £6 regular feature.
Brilliant beers now available in kegs at pubs too.  Something for everyone.

Happy days.

We all used to drink it because the water wasn't safe. This was back in the days when traditional British values encompassed pumping raw sewage back into the water supply.

Please include cider along with beer. I love a refreshing pint of cider on a sunny day.

Sorry, coops, you need your own thread.  Any replies will probably be unintelligible due
to most cider drinkers are already on 3litre bottle number four.

I do like a pint of Aspalls cider, after walking my Muttley, in my local pub. In fact, I'm going to do exactly that after the 16.20 @ Huntingdon.
