tommy, why are you undertaking a research project, is it part of an MBA ?

Why not create a questionnaire? Would save you a lot of time. Im pretty sure many on here wont mind filling a survey for you. I have never used google forms but i think it will be much simpler and you'll be relieved when you have to analyse the results later.

Will depend on the nature of the survey he is undertaking. Questionnaires can be very limiting and take you down a quantitative research route.
Interviews are much harder work, but allow you to go down a qualitative path.

My advice is nobody to call him, this sounds like a scam to me, the number you could call could be one of those premium numbers that charges you umpteen pounds per minute, also a new poster which is suspicous.

Be wary imo.

I’ve just completed the interview. Most questions were about Donald Trump, Theresa May or what order one would do Girls Aloud.

It got slightly confusing and I fear I might have inadvertently given Tommy wholly the wrong impression.

How does one receive this promised £10.00?

Will it require a clandestine meeting, with me wearing a pink carnation, and some dodgy looking geezers, dressed in black,
and a brief case, presumably, full of my £10.00?

Not a chance Robinson, but up it to £12.50 and I'm good to go!

I`m pretty sure tommy is genuine, but who is going to give a complete stranger their bank account details to send a tenner. Nobody that hard up surely? Last time I gave my bank details I got scammed for thousands which ended up in Nigeria before one could say Tommy Robinson. I wish I was kidding but I aint.

Best to set up a questionnaire on his website. Many would complete for free.

Hi guys,

Thanks for your questions.

- I'm a User Experience designer and its my job to make digital products (apps and websites) easy to use and intuitive. I need to do some usability studies which means I have some designs of an app that I need to show to the target market (you guys), to get feedback so I can make the app better. It's common practice in my industry to recruit the target market from places they hangout online.

- A questionnaire wouldn't get me the data I need. Angoose hit the nail on the head. Much easier to find the cause of problems from interviewing people.

- The £10 would be in the form of a PaySafeCard (i'm not affiliated with them and this isn't a promotion) that can be used in a few other gaming sites. I would send you the 16 digit code, as well as a picture of the receipt.

- The call would be over Skype which is free for everyone.

I'm trying to be careful with what I say so I don't breach the forum rules.

Any more questions, send me a message

Thanks,
Tommy

There you go, a perfectly clear explanation, and an opportunity for forumites to provide direct input in to a future online experience that may be of interest to them.
