It's no good saying the way to change things is to vote them out; you can't, there's too many of them. Complicity rules. Politics has to have a massive long hard look at itself. Don't vote!

I share your frustration but if the moderate majority decide not to vote, the extremists get elected. Local council are very different from National elections and turn outs are usually very low anyway. The referendum did show that more people care about the EU than are willing to vote for an MP.

If you spoil you paper it gets counted - it would be very entertaining as a protest vote if "spoilt papers" were to get a majority in a constituency but no doubt the named individual with the next highest total would still feel comfortable that they had "won" the seat.
