Retire gracefully and enjoy old age satisfied at the wonderful catalogue of Music you have recorded over the years. Rock music is not for geriatric performers. Get well soon Mick.

Jazz, yes, where performers get better with age.

You can add Fleetwood Mac to the list. Watched a recording of their current concert and it was excruciatingly bad.

Yet, people freely choose to shell out their cash to attend such events and the beat goes on Cry

Reports in the US say that Sir Mick Jagger, the iconic lead singer of the Rolling Stones, is set to undergo surgery this week, to replace a damaged valve in his heart.

According to the New York Post's "Page Six" site, Jagger has a damaged valve in his heart, and is set to receive a stent, sparking worries about the veteran musician's health.

I saw The Rolling Stones at Hockenheim grand prix circuit when I was on holiday in Germany one Summer. My friends were going and I really was not that fussed particularly (It was 'The Voodoo Lounge tour') and they were supported by Big Country who I do like so thought OK I'll go as I probably will never get a chance to see the Stones live again. That was August 19th 1995!

They were actually OK and I did enjoy myself and Big Country were excellent so I'm glad I went in the end but I would not go and see them now if it were free to get in.

Never been my cup of tea. A couple of theirs I like, but never quite got it. A mate went and saw them last year and paid a fortune to do so. I wouldn't go for free. As for retirement, its probably the thought of settling down with those young women that keeps em going!

If you start me up
If you start me up I'll never stop
You can start me up
You can start me up I'll never stop

I've been running hot
You got me ticking going to blow my top
If you start me up
If you start me up I'll never stop
Never stop, never stop, never stop

You make a grown man cry Cry
You make a grown man cry Cry
You make a grown man cry Cry
