It would be Coffee. IMHO the existance of a good mug of tea is proof of God. Brassneck should construct a theory arround this.

I've seen myself take teabags on holiday just to make sure I'm not going to die of tea starvation!

Hate tea. Like an occasional coffee, no sugar and brown.

I used to be 50/50 but much more coffee since I switched from sugar to sweeteners - they affect the taste of coffe less than tea imo.

Coffee is so overpowering that it's more lenient of bad ingredients, that's true.
Coffee with powdered milk or the crap you get in hotels as "milk" suffers less than tea without real milk.

That's good. If it doesn't work take a coffee, that'll give you a feeling of inner tranquilitea.

I drink more cocoa than either tea or coffee and add neither milk nor sugar to any as they spoil the flavour. If I had to be deprived of one it would be tea.

Black Tea without milk is horrible. I've asked for tea in France and that's what they give you unless you ask for milk.
(Green and various herbal teas are different but unmilked black tea, it's like dilute battery acid).

I wonder if the reason India, land of Tea, find cows sacred, is due to the fact they may tea so good!

Food (or drink) for thought.

It depends on what you're used to JC. My grandmother always had a slug of whisky in tea which to me tasted nasty but she loved it. If you look at coffee bars today almost everyone is drinking large cups and glasses of warm milk flavoured with a measure of coffee and probably sweetened. It's what they like but not for me.

Strange I've never had whisky in tea, but had it in coffee. "Irish Coffee" ... I have it in winter sometimes if I've a cold.

... That's why you see me in supermarkets hanging alternately round coughing people and the booze aisle december-feb, it's a fine excuse :)
