Today Jess Phillips showed us why we are so deep in the mire over Brexit.
Tory MP Ben Bradley stated he'd vote for the government today despite not liking some details of the deal.
Phillips, another one with a constant smug grin on her face, immediately ridiculed him by laughingly asking him how he could vote for something he didn't like.
Of course he didn't say that he said he didn't like aspects of the deal. ie He was compromising which is the part Phillips didn't get.
Surely Wednesday told her that compromises have to be made by everybody. 8 of the most popular parliament 'solutions' put forward and all defeated.

Was also sad to hear that some of those Labour MPs who might have  sided with TM had changed their minds because of TMs speech to the nation.
FFS how unprofessional is that. Didn't like what TM said so going to vote against their feelings and more importantly against what the UK public voted for because TM upset them.

Quite so, aka.
Across the house though it’s the same, some cons would back the deal if she resigned.
Utter madness.
MP’s it would seem are by nature narcissists and egomaniacal, and talk their way round anything.
Unfortunately nothing surprises us any more, it just exasperates.

May has only ever tried to appeal to the Tories and their fellow-travellers in N Ireland. There has been no attempt to deliver a proper compromise with other parties. She daren't cut herself adrift from the looney right and then has the cheek to blame Labour.

She rolled the dice - wandered around a bit (not a lot to be honest) spouting "Strong and Stable" - she essentially then lost an election.
That left her at the mercy of her own lunatic fringe and those very reasonable mercenaries in the DUP.

What surprises you more about this highly predictable situation:

That she can't get a consensus from her own fruit-loops or that the party in opposition want a General election?

I grant you that it's hard to fathom which of the two was most inevitable but they were both inevitable from the moment she fecked up the election.

Not a chance of that happening donny, May has tried to blackmail us into leaving with her worse than remaining deal.

You are not allowed to leave the EU, it is a dictatorship. Their will be a long delay or a 2nd vote.

In all fairness to the Wheat Trampler, it was probably some unelected "special" advisor (now long gone) that told her to call an election.
