I got that wrong

The story concerns a young married woman, the former Constance Reid (Lady Chatterley), whose upper class husband, Sir Clifford Chatterley, described as a handsome, well-built man, has been paralysed from the waist down due to a Great War injury. In addition to Clifford's physical limitations, his emotional neglect of Constance forces distance between the couple. Her emotional frustration leads her into an affair with the gamekeeper, Oliver Mellors.

nellie; (i have to be careful here) we had the pleasure of meeting when she worked for CNBC. To say we agreed on somethings & vehemently disagreed on others; would be a catastrophic understatement. Her 'rise' through the ranks is a mystery to many; but not to me

an extremely pretty lady, with the added attraction of something that gets me; feisty! I like mad eyes & hers can get pretty kooky. All pales though if you can't stand being in the same roomLaugh

In the book, Oliver Mellors calls his Right Honourable Member 'John Thomas', which is where the name originates.
