There's a law out there called "fair use" ffs
So basically they've created another law that contradicts one already in place

will we be allowed to report football scores on the forum if
the premier league claim rights over the data
if beckham copyrights his name will we be allowed to mention
him without first seeking his permission
not sure the law is contradictory but it certainly will give a lot
of lawyers a lot of work
and give forum moderators a nightmare too...cant see this place surviving
if betfair have to accept responsibility for each breach of copyright
