How much has it cost?
The building costs were estimated at £300m in 2007,

The most recent figures estimate the build has cost Spurs upwards of £850m, possibly reaching £1billion.

A key reason behind the rising costs has been blamed on Brexit and subsequent higher costs of importing and the worsening of exchange rates.

The £850m is the estimated cost of the Northumberland Development Project (which includes the regeneration of the surrounding area).

The stadium construction cost is estimated at £350-400m.

Editors must insist that brexit is shown as a negative in every piece they run.

Do you think brexit should have brought the cost down?

As nick says above, the original estimate was for a different project entirely. Do you think it fair that they infer that brexit is a 'key reason' for the final spend almost tripling? Sometimes you ask ridiculous questions for the sake of asking em.

Tbh, £350m sounds conservative. Arsenal's stadium was completed in 2006 and cost £390m.

Whoever made the initial estimate was making a retractable pitch.
