It must have gone against the grain

Magna Steyr in Austria and Nedcar in Holland makd cars for other manufactures

I can understand the synergies...no wonder the proliferation in recalls of vehicles since eg Toyota/Renault/Citroen, VW/Seat, etc. Nearly forgot the seat belt palava where the manufacturer is the sole provider.

It makes sense to have a manufacturing presence here in the UK if you sell enough cars in Britain, Honda made 160000 cars at their Swindon factory but sold only 10% or 16000 civics here
That must be one of the lowest domestic take ups of any mainstream model anywhere in the world. If we end up with a no deal Brexit I will not be suprised if Ford and others don't once again make cars here |

Did that make the 6pm news or is as usual with the BBC, "bad news that can be blamed on Brexit = headline news, good news = bury it"?

The EU (post 'Brexit') is just a handful of meaningful countries of political and economic importance eg Germany, France, Italy, Portugal and Spain - the rest are mainly hangers-on; the outside world is huge esp China, and the Asia markets. Thus, why the disinformation and disingenuousness about 'Brexit'?
Have faith: Painful for a short period, but will be ok or better later on. |
