Interestingly, I think money for your funeral is the only dosh that can be released when someone dies. I had to pay my Dad's Inland Revenue Bill before his Will was sorted.

Not sure that came out right, I had to pay his IR bill after he had died - the bank would not relase any money to pay for that, but they would his funeral.
