to trap ourselves ,so that if we want to leave the EU we will not be able to do so,we can always table a few amendments to the vote and confuse the general public and then we can kick brexit down the road for a few years and blame the EU.AND nobody will be non the wiser.and we can then waffle about it all for another 2 years.

1) Leaving on March 29th. Nope 2) No vote on no deal. Well actually there was. 3) 'Meaningful' vote? More like pointless vote. 4) 2nd Ref off the table. To get back on track there should be a motion to overturn ruling out no deal. To appease remainers they can table an amendment to make it temporary so there is still the option to not not not leave without a deal later on.

if theresa fails to get her deal through next week there is a chance that the can will be kicked down the road for 5 years.

she could also put a backstop on the vote just in case it is defeated,and then she would be able to bring it back for a fourth vote(with another backstop of course) and keep repeating the exercise until it is agreed.

Think shes already doing that. Needs to stop calling it a 'meaningful vote' on 'the deal' so people dont notice. Maybe call the next one 'harmless vote on wrapping up some insignificant loose ends'
Also i believe can kicking of 18 months is within her range but 5 years must be fake news? Even with the new can kicking tees and training methods i think 2 years is the max and thats with wind assistance |
