In further revelations, Johhny Cash has went on to add "San Quentin, may you rot and burn in hell" He's really not getting over this, someone needs to get him a kitten and an anger management class.

To be kind - I like to think of it as passion rather than hate!
But I can't understand all the outraged people that suddenly think politicians are there to enact the "will of the people".
Would that not apply at every election and for every manifesto?
I can't recall people ever getting so "passionate" (on either side) for every other promise that successive govts have failed to deliver. Why is everybody so bothered about this one at the expense of talking about education, tuition fees, police, crime, prisons, transport, hospitals, libraries, etc.
Not saying it's a bad thing ("the passion") - but it seems so misplaced - where is that passion when they are fecking you over on all of the important stuff?

I think we will leave LFC - but I think they will deliver it in a fashion that makes everyone bothered to be fair.
Take Back Control will be up there in the laughing stakes with Strong and Stable.

I don't expect "Out of Control" looked so good on the t-shirts.
I think they will unite the country - as leavers and remoaners will both hate the final outcome.

I’m not worried about those slogans , never paid any attention to them It is not really about leaving and remaining , it’s about respecting the people who voted to leave I don’t expect very much will change , and never did But it’s very important to leave , it’s the most important vote ever in that way imo

I'm afraid it was all about those slogans lfc as neither side was able to participate in an honest or factual discussion.
One side said the world would end if we left - the other said it would be very simple to leave and we take back control.

well of course it’s difficult to leave , if people who lost the vote vote to stop us leaving but of course that’s not people like yourself the management , you don’t care really And wouldn’t do that

Keep up mate - It was the people that won the vote (ERG, DUP, etc) that just voted to stop us leaving.

You are aware that the "arch Brexiteer" himself (Walter the Softy) voted against the deal?
I can get you an e-mail address for Nanny if you want to have a word.

i didn't expect the remainers to vote to leave, in fairness some did , a few behaved honourably but the vast majority in labour and snp didn't
disgraceful , that's why i said its difficult with those sort of people

any leaver who voted against mays deal did so honourably, they want to leave
any remainer did so dishonourably , they want to stay
that's a very big and important difference
but maybe too subtle for remainers to grasp, i don't know

ok - but you understand that it was the Brexiteers that defeated the deal to leave?
You think the people that toured the country & stood on podiums arguing for remoan are dishonourable?
The people that toured the country in buses and stood on podiums advocating leave ("it will be easy" - "they needs us to buy their BMW's more than we need them", etc) - they have just scuppered it and are prepared to risk a communist government? They are honourable?

You seem to be surprised or struggling to understand that the socialists/communists want a socialist/communist govt.
But less surprised that the people that orchestrated Brexit just voted against it and against "the will of the people".

Yes of course I’ve just explained why they are dishonourable And why remainers ( not all ) don’t seem to be able to grasp that simple fact They can only be what they are , dishonourable

If the people of Britain want a socialist government that’s fine they can vote for one ps Britain is one of the most socialist countries in the world , that’s now

I can think of many words for JRM and his chums - but honourable isn't one of them. They would all deport the nanny that is breastfeeding their children for 50p in an offshore trust fund.

He texted me - said my 50p offer was derisory and an insult, said that Nanny has worked for the family for 3 generations and the children would be distraught if she were to leave.
Second text said if i up it to a quid in bearer bonds he would consider it.

We held a referendum which was asking the people of this country do you want to leave or remain in the EU?
There was not much point in holding it if the government do not honour it is there?????
The government have a moral responsibility here.
Still the way things are going we may hold a second referendum which I would expect to contradict the first.
The people of this country are worried about the adverse effect it may have on our standard of living.
The problem of immigration seems less important in the light of that.
just my own opinion.

I'm not disagreeing with you - just think elections are same as referenda - they both ask the people to vote.
People seem to take it for granted that election manifesto's are a load of horlicks that won't get honoured and they put up with it (even give them a second/third term). Yet with this referendum suddenly everyone believes in democracy and they must deliver "the will of the people".
Maybe a lot of people that don't understand politics (and don't usually vote in elections) were deceived (by both sides) into voting on Leave/Remoan. Maybe there are a lot of people out there just realising for the first time that politics is complex and politicians don't/can't often do what they say/promise.

I really don't have hatred towards anyone, not even my ex wife who is now sitting pretty in my lovely house near Cambridge and I'm OK with that. Life is too short to hold grudges, move on and get on with things. As the fella once said, "Today is the beginning of the rest of your life" and I subscribe to that philosophy.
