Since an electronic signal travels at the speed of light it would take around one twentieth of a second to cover the 9000 miles. My question is, where has it been all that time?

Is your opening question really a paradox or is it proof that the concept of omnipotence is a fallacy?

God is very clever, he would invent a crane to lift it.
