The high street is littered with Starbucks, Nero, Costa etc.  Surely people want something different.

I have been giving it some though, and it came to me like a flash.  We have too much of
the american influence in our lives.  The answer was BOVRIL.

A nationwide chain of shops serving Bovril.  Sure you can have a croissant with it, or a muffin, but
Bovil is the main product.  There will be expert staff preparing the drink, or Bovrilistas as I will call them.

The drink will have wide-ranging appeal from the traditional working-class northern bloke to the
trendy posh skinny London birds happy to sip away on a drink containing only 10 calories - and its caffeine free.
It has the added bonus of providing one third of our salt requirement - salt being important in preventing cramp.

The profit margins will be fantastic as a box of 12 cubes is only £1.  So cost 8p and can sell for at least
£2 or probably £5 in London.

Before I draw up an overly-ambitious business plan and phone up that bloke with the big ears who does Dragon's Den, please
could you guys give me some feedback?

Brilliant idea. Why not a Bovril and a Scotch Pie? We only get the chance to buy them at the Football!

Keep an eye on working capital. Don't put all your money into stock.

Probably better to charge them to sit down and throw in the Bovril free.

Would you literally throw in the Bovril?

It will never work - there aren't enough people stupid enough to pay a fiver for what is essentially a mug of boiling water that they could have made at home for pennies.

Oh hang on.....

I'm in  - and I have a contact that can supply little holes in the wall where they can charge there essential communication tools.

But I'M gonna want 40% or I'll share it with Touker because he has a kettle contact in China - now go talk to the wall.
Deborah was also interested but has withdrawn her offer because your cups aren't biodegradable, recyclable and gluten-free.

Will there be gluten free and vegetarian options available?

You'll also need a catchy tagline and celebrity endorsements.
How about resurrecting Lauren Cooper who can then tell the world that "I'm only bothered with a Bovril!".

As I was saying the other day when I get bored with tea or coffee I sometimes drink heavily watered down Bisto as a sort of Bovril substitute. It's a different gravy.
