Any of you have any experience of this?
My son in law is having an operation today and is, understandably, petrified!
The procedure will be done without anaesthetic, and involves inserting of a wire into his heart, and "zapping" the muscle that is causing the problem!

Yes i had it done 9 years ago,it wasn't pleasent but the worst part was the wires went through the groin area and they put a socket in so after was the worst part a couple og holes in groin area pain was excruciating and the bruise spread from groin and all the way down the leg..They will speed hos heart rate up so its very fast which feels sligty unpleasent,i also think they gove you ketamine or some other drug to prevent you being anxious if you want it,i remember when they were testing the wire through the artery i actually felt it moving along as jabbed me.I've had worse things but obviously is quite an anxious thing to have done,the odds of something bad happening are a 1,000/1...i think they mustv'e given me ketamin as i couldn'y stop talking rubbish afterwards ..
