If there is a second referendum it will be the most shameful act in Britain’s long history
By:
It will LFC,it happened with Ireland regarding the Lisbon treaty, they were threatened of dire economic consequences by the EU,they (Ireland) capitulated and changed the original vote. All for nothing as the 2008ish crash came and the German banks brought Ireland to its knees in paying that back.
Morally i am with the UK,Merkels decision to let in a few million economic migrants under the guise of refugees was at best short sighted and selfish, she had no right to foist them on any other country. With a month to go your politicians have been inept beyond belief Lfc,nearly 3 years to get to this point?(no point). All party politics and scant regard for the wishes of the referendum result.(Irelands opposition party is working with the goverment re Brexit). Some tweak to the the backstop probably the best way out, easier said than done as that has everyone stumped. |

The EU agreed a deal with the PM which the PM agreed to. It's not the EU making it as hard as possible. It's this country's shambles not the EUs
By:
The GBP voted for this shambles. Cameron was the idiot who promised a referendum and Corbyn was the idiot who wasn't competyent enough to campaign to remain, whne it was Labour party policy and clearly in the interast of the poor.
Theresa May is the rabbit in the headlights and one of the few people who is doing everything possible to get the deal done. |

By:
its about trying to sort a deal which will stop the eu from imploding (which it will regardless just a question of when ),if we leave with no deal it happens quickly if we get a deal it just delays it

As an aside, Micheal Gove is having a business meeting this morning, why?. In the event of a no-deal the UK haven't pallets(yes)
that conform to EU standards. Anything exported that requires a pallet won't be allowed into the EU. You live and learn and don't know the half of it. |
By:
How can we not have same sized pallets if we've been transporting goods there for the last million years?
By:
That's unpalletable.
By:
You would be classed as "a third country" PP, their rules then state the pallets have to be heat treated and marked that they(pallets) conform to EU rules.
Anymore pallet questions? |

The EU gravy train has expanded beyond recognition, and one thing we know about politicians is that they will do anything to hang on to their tickets on the aforementioned train. Great Britain could have remained if we had only had a leader who could have re-negotiated uor membership on more favourable terms. That was not the case, we had 'Call me Dave' Cameron, who to save his skin called a Referendum without any thought to the consequences and then abandoned ship.
