That failed attempt at reform was a sensible one and it's a shame it didn't get passed, I voted for it.

Actual PR with a list system is a joke, you end up with situations with a dozen tiny flake parties and horrifying useless extermist pr1cks holding the balance of power on a very small number of votes, like the Marxist Environmentalist party in Scotland.

Problem is why will Conservative or Labour ever back it? Current system protects the stat quo.

PR would be a disaster for the Country. The tail would wag the dog even more than the ERG are at present. The system we have at present has been a very effective system. It is just the Nazis in both Parties are subverting them.

Present system is un-democratic.

I think UK politics are changing rapidly and neither Labour or Tories are certain (or deserve) to survive the next decade. This new
party could appeal to a huge percentage of the population who are sick of the two main parties and the increasingly extreme fringes
they represent.
Certainly no reason why they cant replicate the Lib Dem vote share of a few years ago at the least and if they really gain momentum youd expect them to merge/swallow up the Lib Dems who are another tarnished and fading brand.

How is the present system undemocratic?
