Why do animal welfare threads attract such little attention?

Well Kenny ive got to tell you,in my will ive left half of my worldly goods to the RSPCA, and before anyone tales the mick it is a nice few quid, I mean those ads on tv!

My arb money will be going to small local sanctuaries and the like Tel. RSPCA have got plenty but don't like spending it. like Cat's Protection. Not saying they don't do some good work, but they have millions stashed away.

Do an islamic welfare thread if you want to attract attention.

Actually we are making new will Friday week ken,so haven't done it yet, its hard just to pick one when there are so many that suffer

au contraire terry, there's loads, just not on chit chat.

I mean the thread on here now, all it needs is  a signature and I've collected 2, and that includes horsey forum. Signatures can help, despite a lot of people thinking otherwise.

I applaud your forum campaigns, dear chap, and will often sign a petition or donate a modest sum anonymously. To answer your question: My personal reason for not contributing to your animal welfare threads on here is because they often depress me greatly, particularly some of the photographs.

I realise, of course, that these are necessary to highlight the many barbaric atrocities to those unaware of such practices but it's preaching to the converted in my case, sir.

Hi Poker, I can't watch the photos, but mainly the videos, haven't even watched my own. But you can scroll to the bottom and sign the petition. By the way there's nothing gratuitous in the video I've been told by the marvellous organisation, Compassion In World Farming, just pigs looking very sad.

I love all animals . How can anyone hurt an animal , for no good reason . It makes my blood boil . I was in town the other week , and a man on a bike intentionally tried to run over a pigeon , that I had just fed some peanuts to . I shouted so loudly at the blo00y little devil , that he nearly fell off his bike .
