The cat's actually called Brian. Nobody knows where he lives, but he spends all day at the County Ground in Taunton. Not just on match days either. He's even been discovered in the players' bags as they're being loaded onto the coach for away fixtures.
The dog's mine. She has had some epic staring contests with Brian. The contests only end when someone drops a chip, which is basically the whole focus of the dog's day at the cricket.
One question: why is Taunton crammed full of well-lubricated Welshmen whenever we play Glamorgan, yet Sophia Gardens looks deserted whenever Glamorgan are at home? Is it possible that Cardiff is not an attractive venue for cricket? (Or anything, come to that.)

They are ex soul crew members, banned from every football stadium in the country.
They're also banned from New Road and Edgbaston (the Worcester game was abandoned without a ball bowled, but they somehow managed to get banned)
Not why they don't go to Brizzle but Taunton is one of the closest games they can attend. Not many of them are cricket fans, they just go for a day out. They do go to home games now and again. You can usually see them surrounded by police when Glamorgan games are on S4C in Welsh. If they don't fight the opposing teams firm then they start on their own. I think Sophia Gardens is really nice. Outside is a bit of a **** (Riverside, for example) Cricket isn't all that popular here, probably exacerbated by having one of the worst teams in professional cricket
