Just had an email from one of the main bookies saying that I will no longer qualify for offers or free bets.
I don’t do a lot of betting so I thought these offers were supposed to encourage me.
What is their logic?

In the past i’ve had accs closed but what they have done just seems plain daft.
It’s hardly encouraging turnover.

You're right racingcert reality is they don't want to take bets on racing at all unless you happen to be an owner, trainer, racing staff member, racing media, racing journalist,sportsperson,celebrity,affiliate/affiliated tipster or of course the always accommodated deep pocketed clueless gambling addict.
If you are none of the above only other chance would be to play the race card otherwise you are stuck with exchanges or going through all of the firms getting restricted very quickly and having to send lots of sensitive personal information to retrieve YOUR money.
They complain at every turn about falling crowds and lack of interest but haven't got the brain cells to realise it's the being able to bet bit and back a winner what attracts 99% of potential customers to the sport.

All firms want losers, if you have 10,000 punters, 9,999 are losers and 1 is a small winner, then they will get rid of the winner..
eventually, they will have no punters on horseracing

I have got 5 nephews all in their 20's, they all like a punt but only on football and rugby. None of them bet on horse racing and when we have a family day out at say Sandown or Plumpton none of them are particularly bothered about going.

... and i’m restricted to 50p on a 100/1 shot in golf.
They are all turning into bet 0.365

If you show any sort of common sense approach , or look for even a sliver of value , you soon get binned.

Selective bets , take top prices, take offers , withdraw winnings , etc etc then they will effectively close you down (restrict stake to meaningless amounts) , win or lose.

Definitely dulls interest in horse racing , why take an interest if you can't even get a 10er EW in an 8 runner race ?

I was completely shut down by one of the big firms after placing six bets over about a week on my internet account.

I was taking their standout prices and laying off on here. I was only staking about £20 per bet and they all lost!

They must have though you were due, Iawn.

They’ve just sent me a questionnaire too so I think i’ll fill it in.

They should sack the odds compilers, not the punters.

If you like a 'lumpy bet' then Fitzdares is the only place to go.

Sadblokes asked me to complete a customer survery ( no idea why)

Here is my response

"Despite Being a 55 year old adult I can only bet a 5p maximum with you.

Great news about the new £2 limit on FOBTs

I look forward to you going bust"
