I'm going to start collecting photos of manhole covers so I don't arrouse suspicion as an enemy of the Reich.
By:
Don't they view rubbings as more authentic? Anyone can snap them on their phone these days, rubbing shows far more dedication.
By:
Well I could try rubbing against them but that would be a different type of "arousing".
By:
Then you'd be suffering from another entirely different condition.

There's nothing you've ever posted on this forum that suggests you'd ever vote for a "sensible centrist party", so why the pretend concern?

"Utter Rubbish of an OP."
Except it's all true. |

In fact I just read a Labour MP comparing the demand that Labour MPs swear this oath (the Jewish woman almost deselected this week was being told she had to do it) to stalins show trials. (She's not the only one btw, this is a "thing" in Labour under momentum and has been for a while).
https://www.politicshome.com/news/uk/political-parties/labour-party/tom-watson/news/101729/labour-deputy-leader-tom-watson "Labour MP Ian Austin said: "It’s like something out of the Soviet Union’s show trials where people were let off if they confessed their disloyalty and shouted ‘Long Live Stalin’." But it's "utter rubbish" as the controller of the forum is back. |
By:
It's utter rubbish, as - A, it hasn't happened, and B, you're comparing Corbyn to Hitler.
By:
I'm comparing the oath to another oath taken to a leader in authoritarian extremist personality cults, and the comparison stands. Do keep up.
By:
Just as well his party isn't antisemitic.
By:
Apparently all labour MPs have now been sent a loyalty pledge to sign and the refusal to sign this "oath" is to my understanding one of the final straws that has forced a split in the labour party this very day.
But apparently my post was "utter rubbish". Strange, SF saying that of my original post has disappeared?! Did he ask to get it removed as Chuka walked on stage? |
By:
Yeah, OK, but I left the 2.42pm one there.
sheesh! |
By:
Your post saying my post was "utter rubbish" has gone. As an aside, do you actually posses a sense of humour? Do you just laugh when others laugh?
By:
Yes I realise that. Given recent developments, accusations of me getting posts removed etc, are rife.
As it happens, I suspect I laugh loads more than many of the people on here, and not always AT them. As a further aside, I met Chuka Umanna (not sure of spelling) at a private gathering about 4 years ago, I can't say I really liked or took to him very much at all. I've met a few politicians for various (non-political) reasons over the years. Only one I found to be sort of ordinary and down to earth, although my opinions of him have changed of late. I will not be saying who, or even what party. All the others never stop being politicians, it's a good income with loads of holidays, so they are mostly of a certain type. I have no time for any of them. And I'll tell you something. They care even less about us. |
By:
So my belief that they are all self serving bent charlatans is endorsed once again
By:
I've never doubted that.
Even if they start off with the best of intentions, it's soon knocked out of them by those already there. In case they spill the trough. If not they just get given crap, unsafe seats. |

Derek Hatton allowed back into Labour - 34 years after being kicked out, FFS
![]() ![]() ![]() A lousy PM, a lousy government, and an even lousier opposition. ![]() |

LOL on the day 7 leave complaining about a hard left takeover, the news is they re-admit someone kicked out for being militant troskyist hard left.
You could not make this up. Of course he was a communist entryist, that'll resonate with the marxist entryists in momentum. Kindred spirits. They need a ministry of truth to rewrite history so it never happened. |
By:
Militant (Trotskyist group)
----- Militant, commonly called the Militant tendency, was a Trotskyist entryist group designed to infiltrate the British Labour Party. .. According to Michael Crick, its politics were based on the thoughts of Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Vladimir Lenin, Leon Trotsky and "virtually nobody else".[3] **** Who said history doesn't repeat itself. |

The bullying of Luciana Berger was/is a disgrace and Corbyns reaction even worse.
Not surprised at this latest development which has been done to silence opposition to the leader. The parallels are there but the 'followers' will ignore. |
By:
good grief; Hatton? I thought he was deceased tbph

LOL Derek the entryist communist is on Loose Women Live talking about how much he agrees with Corbyn the entryist communist, his "comrade".
Surely another kiss of death to anyone with any sense. |
